Below are samples of karat and gold metal leaf (GML) placement. All samples are customizable. This page was created to educate gold placement and the lingo used while ordering. Gold will look different depending on the profile chosen. Not all profiles can accommodate every placement listed. The profile used below is a Cropped Florentine.
